The smell and quality of ingredients used in a perfume usually determines its price. Of course leading brands do have their own influence while deciding the cost of their perfume product.

With Perfumes that are available in a wide range and varieties, choosing a perfect perfume is a difficult task. if your perfume selection is correct, it will surely make you smell fresh and even people will be attracted to you, but on the other hand if your selection goes wrong, it can makes your admirers flee away too! Hence, its very important to choose a perfume whose fragrance complements your skin type and natural aroma of your body.

The scent of your perfume should be subtle enough that others would love to stay around you and on the other hand shouldnt be too strong to make others cringe with constant sneezes! While choosing a suitable perfume, its a good idea to try spraying sample perfumes directly onto your skin to know if its suits your skin or not. Its suggested not to try more than three fragrances at one time coz your nose will lose its ability to tell the difference.

After you are satisfied that the perfumes fragrance, dont hurry up to buy it. Try on a sample of that particular perfume and leave it on for a day. You will be able to know if the perfume suits your body, or any other possible allergies or headache, and even if the scent is losing or not from this simple exercise.

Now some dos and dont about perfume use:

Dont keep an already opened perfume for long. Once opened it should be used else the fragrance will fade. Also direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temp can change the scent of your perfume, hence should always be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct light.

Too much overdoing of perfume application wont make you smell any better! Hence stop spraying extra perfume over your garments, neck, and even hair. Also its not a good idea to put fragrance directly on furs or fabrics as it might stain. You want to please yourself and those who are closest to you with your fragrance. Anything beyond that is considered as overdoing.

The perfect time to apply perfume is right after a shower as the pores of our body is open then and it soaks up the scent of the perfume. Those who have dry skin should apply more perfume.

Its a good idea to change perfume according to the season. Stronger perfumes are required for winter as the perfume scent gets reduced with the dip in temperature. You can dab your perfume in usual places such as on the wrist, the inside of the elbow, neck or even the back of the knees. But restrain from applying it behind the ears as it might blend with the skin secretions and create a bad smell.

Bathroom Mirror Designs In The Market Today

Instead of being considered as a necessity for self-awareness, mirrors can be installed in your bathroom to give it a whole new look; a separate place in your abode that speaks of comfort and convenience for anyone who stays in it. The assorted designs of bathroom mirrors available in the market today makes it possible for a homeowner to pick the perfect one out that will compliment — or improve — the ambience of this little corner of their abode.

Themes And Designs

Bathroom mirrors vary according to their design or theme. Vanity mirrors are considered to be the trend by modern homeowners today. But other designs also provide a unique look that will compliment both the furniture, as well as the theme of your bathroom.

Contemporary bathroom mirrors is considered as an all-rounder design. It fits with any type of theme you may have, and will fit well with the rest of the fixtures in it. As with any decorative mirrors, contemporary designed bathroom mirrors vary in shape and size. You can purchase shapes, like ovals, round, square, or rectangle — designs range from simple wooden frames to exotic antiques.

Traditional mirrors are best for homes with vintage designs. Most of these are either round or square, and is mostly styled in artistic chiseled frames, or well-formed ornate iron elegance. Most traditional bathroom mirrors are sold in dark colors — commonly in black or earthen brown.

Bathroom mirrors with modern designs is what you see in 5-star hotels and quality condos today. Modern mirrors may either have traditional or vintage designs, but incorporates futuristic features for added convenience, like a cabinet behind the mirror, or a pivot for a perfect 180 degree view.

Picking The Right One

When picking out a bathroom mirror design to purchase, it is important to determine the theme of area, the furniture and fixtures installed, and of course, its size. Purchasing one that is too big for your bathroom size is not a great way to improve its overall look — in fact, it will only waste much space that might inconvenience you when you plan to rearrange your bathroom necessities later on.

Aside from its look, smart shoppers should always consider the price. Keep in mind that quality bathroom mirrors, especially those with high-end designs, are considered to be expensive by an average homeowner. You might want to check out different furniture shops in your area and list down prices you find affordable. The Internet is also a great place to shop around for a cheap bathroom mirror for your home.

Why does my washing machine smell?

It happens to all of us. Its a glorious day, perfect weather to dry the laundry on the line, but then you notice it, no sooner are you pegging up the pillow cases before you realise that the wash seems to have caused the load to smell worse than it did before it went in. So what are the causes for a bad smelling washing machine? And how can this problem be stopped?

Put simply, the cause of a bad smelling washing machine is dirt. Mould, grease, and slime can all build up over time and have become more common in recent years with trends for users to wash only at 40 degrees in order to conserve energy and money. Not only does washing at a consistently low temperatures reduce the machines efficiency at killing bed-bugs and the affects of non-bio powder, but the inevitable build-up of grease can have serious consequences for the machine itself - not just your laundry.

Washing machine repairmen warn that the worst effect this can have is the corrosion of the drum aluminium - this can lead to a broken drum arm and the need for a whole new machine. Other problems include rotting hoses and gaskets, as well as blockages that can lead to overfilling.

Manufacturers have begun to recommend maintenance washes. It is advised that as often as once a month it is a good idea to put a very hot wash on without any laundry, but with the addition of a detergent that contains bleaching agents that may not be found in the powder or liquid you usually use. Alternatively, it is also possible to use soda crystals which are available at most supermarkets.

Other reasons for washing machine smells can include a lack of u-bend in the plumbing and can even be caused by what exactly is being washed out of the clothes, such as chemicals or stubborn strong-smelling substances. If maintenance washes still dont rid your machine of those darned smells, distilled white wine vinegar in the soap dispenser has also been known to have good effects.

A more extreme case of dirt can also be recognized in the form of black mould, and of course this isnt good for your machine. Warm moist places are a haven for black mould and can be hazardous to your general health, so it is good to have a good inspection of your machine once in a while to check if there is any lurking. Black mould can be removed with a scourer or an old toothbrush, and to be extra safe goggles and a face mask should be worn. A frequent maintenance wash should stop black mould build-up in the future. And in case all of this fails: You will find all sorts of cheap washing machines at one of the big price comparison sites.
